But Patrick is also mindful of the fact that Pete’s not as young as he once was. Sure, he works out often and is the most physically healthy he’s ever been—that he’s finally achieved something of an equilibrium between his body and his brain thanks to the diligent efforts of several specialists and stable medication—but he’s still in his mid-thirties, and this kind of strain is probably more harmful than it is helpful at this point.
