In the drawing, there’s a familiar figure standing alone. They’re wearing a darkless cloak that nearly reaches their toes and a pointy darkless hat on top of their head.

FACE
Instead, a circle of dark scribbles sits in the space between their cloak and their hat.
You grip the paper tight in your (shaky) hands until the paper crinkles.
Your throat’s dry, dry, dry, as you force your mouth open and say, “That’s me.”
