An incoming text caused his phone to vibrate obnoxiously on his nightstand, and he squeezed his eyes shut a little tighter. If he didn’t react, maybe he could pretend it wasn’t happening. He almost thought it worked and whoever was bothering him had fucked off - but then the second text came through and shattered that possibility.
Theo wasn’t sure why he decided to reach for the phone this time, but he did - shamelessly hoping that whoever the sender was, was actively dying somewhere. Anything less than bleeding out in an alley was gonna really piss him off, since nights where he managed to quiet his demons long enough to fall asleep were few and far between. This was a really shitty night for someone to need him.
