Summary
Soon the house is full of life. Faust makes more homunculi, and cares for them like children, just like any loving parent. He is finally at peace with his decisions, and it does not feel so painful to think of his family and past life anymore. He has a new reason to live, a new family.
But as time goes by, some of his children start to desire more from him. He probably should not indulge, he do not want to dirty them with such feelings. But Faust has always been a selfish man. And it has been a very long time since Faust has been with anyone in such way.Series

Summary
Faust cannot do it. He cannot sacrifice the creature he summoned. He goes to his knees before his daughter and asks forgiveness for being unable to resurrect her. But before he can fall to despair, the homunculus's wooden hand touches Faust's shoulder in a gentle caress, consoling him. The creature smiles with eyes filled with kindness and innocence, just like an actual child.
Faust decides that this creature will be his son. He will not sacrifice the homunculus. He cannot do so, even to revive his daughter. Accepting her death is not something easy to do, but it is the only way forward.(Also since it's a new fandom, if you're wondering why I'm using AI, disability mess with my ability to write, it's hard to translate thoughts into words, so I use it as an assistive tool but the story do come from me.)
