Fox closed his eyes and tilted his head up, enjoying the warm Coruscanti sun and being outside after being cooped up in the Senate all day. Breathing deeply, he set off back towards the Senate rotunda and Guard headquarters. In no hurry to be back, and enjoying some time alone. Especially after the last few days he had had.
He had buried himself in his work. Free time meant he would be free to think and worry about what he had done to Fives and work himself into a guilt induced panic over it. His batch had reached out on more than one occasion and he had read the messages but never responded. He didn’t know what to say, and everything he thought of just felt inadequate, so he just didn’t say anything.

When she stepped closer, the sight of a hunched Ezra pressing his ear tightly against the door almost sent her bursting into laughter. She slowly stalked forward, careful not to make any sound until she loomed over him, engulfing him in shadow. She crossed her arms for good effect.
