The fat hand of the clock reaches for its first hour.
The thin red hand strikes ten.
Somewhere, a draft licks against the petals of a sunflower.
Somewhere, pastries lie forgotten, growing stale.
Somewhere, wheels grind against stone.
Somewhere, a pistol feels the warm embrace of a firm hand.
It strikes eleven.
The pistol raises, and the hammer flicks back.
One o’clock.
A single gunshot rings out, sending a shockwave of lights down Baker Street, including the all too curious windowsill of 221B.
That red hand trickles past the threshold, further past twelve.
Two lie dead. Blood gathers around their bodies as their eyes soften into nothing.
A single shot. Two bodies. On seperate floors. In seperate buildings.A sigil hangs over them both.
