After that, Kara quickly decided that she hated highschool; she hated the sound of teenagers yelling at each other from across the hallways and people whispering about her behind her back when they thought she couldn't hear them. She hated the stench of teenage body odor and the disgusting amount of cheap cologne and perfume that they used to try and cover it up. She hated the group of cheerleaders that targeted her everyday with rude remarks and prestigious threats, she hated that Alex made her act like she felt it when the girls would throw her against lockers and push her to the ground. She hated English class and she hated Veronica for the way she made her everyday life a living hell because Kara stares at her ex girlfriend.
She hated highschool, but she hated it a whole lot less when Lena Luthor - the school's resident bad girl that every single student was afraid of - sat besides her in history class and picked at the rips in her fish net tights instead of paying attention to the lectures.

Lena Luthor was mesmerizing. The whole school was aware of this (obviously they were, I mean just look at her), but add the fact she was the lead singer of an all goth girl metal band and you’d have somewhat of an understanding why Kara was left swooning and trying to spend as much time with her as possible. Never mind that the girl was sometimes kind of mean to her.
Kara Danvers was infuriating. Most people seemed to adore her, even her own friends seemed to think she was amusing, but Lena knew better. The girl was her polar opposite in every sense, but not only was she a fan of cheesy pop songs and was she ruining her whole broody goth girl vibe, she also made her heart dance in ways she had absolutely no idea how to deal with.

Kara Danvers is a bubbly bright girl who is full of hope. After all, it's her 4th year on Earth and her cousin is already training her to become a superhero. But now, she'll just have to go for being a regular high school student. She has plenty of friends one the away, she's the team's quarterback. They've never lost a game with Kara on the team and everyone loved her for that. Well everyone except the one person whose opinion mattered.
Lena Luthor. National City High's renowned asshole goth girl and bitchest girl. People who didn't hate her only wanted to explore a fetish. But everyone had a reason to hate her after all. Ever since her older brother killed their mother. Everyone knew that story but no one knew why. So they just decided to hate Lena and be afraid of her. It didn't bother the straight- A student, she didn't particularly like people anyway.
But what happens when the second semester of the year starts and Lena is put into a class, into a partnership with Kara? What happens when they are forced to work together or they'll fail the class? Will Kara learn to never listen to rumors? Will Lena learn to not judge a book by it's cover?

Summary
Lena was not at all prepared for the way her body responded to Super Girl’s singing. She felt rooted to the spot, unable to take her eyes off the way the singer swayed gently to her own song. Lena followed Super Girl’s fingers moving up and down the neck of her guitar, playing the chords so powerfully and delicately at the same time.
Lena was even less prepared for when the gorgeous singer made direct, unbreaking eye contact with her during the final pre-chorus of the song.
