Seeing his brother in such a state filled Papyrus with his own feeling of euphoria. After all his brother has done for him, even including all the times he has annoyed him with the puns, Papyrus felt that Sans deserved his own bit of happiness. His own chance to have the life he wants.
Or essentially five times of others witnessing Sans acting as a Father towards Frisk, the one time he admitted it.

This the story of Kingdomtale, an au I created that's essentially Undertale if it took place in the medieval century. It's not historically accurate but it's my take on this popular concept. I have already posted a series for this au but have grown dissatisfied with it. I know I can write something better. This is the new and improved Kingdomtale, and it's going to come back even stronger and better than before. My hope is that this story can feel nostalgic in a way, like you are experiencing Undertale all over again for the first time.
Here is just a quick snippet of the plot: The year is 15XX, and another human has fallen down Mount Ebott. This human is no more than a child, having woken up in a bed of golden flowers. How did they get there? They'll soon discover a world of monsters, magic, and much more. Can one human child bring peace between two different races that have been forced to share one Kingdom?
