But Cross would never do that. The god had given him a home, friends, a new purpose, a second chance at life to prove his worth. In exchange Cross served him, stayed by his side, devoted his life to him in such a manner that it almost could be called worshiping. He was a god, afterall.
Cross knew he would do anything for Nightmare. He’d kill for him, had killed for him, he’d protect him, even die for him. And if that couldn’t be achieved, well, then he’d die with him.

That's what any normal person expects of Undertale. Hell, the game is 10 years old at this point, I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to go for the "What if Frisk but the human can talk and is a sarcastic little shit" route. But, oh well. At least MY AU has a completely new type of SOUL which will NOT be explained in the first chapters because I like edging my audience. No, not in that way, you freaks. -
