Bucky cleared his throat nervously. He couldn't believe he was about to follow a ghost bird to God-knows-where in Stark Tower—and that's assuming the bird didn't get him caught and dragged out by security, walk through a wall and lose him, or fly right out the front doors and into Bucky's death by oncoming traffic.
For Bucky to keep the government from discovering he'd become a Sentinel—and ruining his life accordingly—he could not afford to get caught trespassing in Stark Tower.
He did it anyway.

Summary
After his deserter father is found dead in the Yukon, Omega Tony finds out he has inherited a plot of land. Curious to see what the hubbub is about - and why his father chose the Yukon over his mother and himself, Tony heads for Seattle, and then to Dyea, etc, and embarks on a crazy trek with one grumpy, scruffy Alpha hunter, and one bright eyed blonde Alpha guide.
Pre-and-During-the Klondike / Alaskan Gold Rush of 1896 on.

Summary

When Tony walks into another meeting with Fury, what he's expecting is another verbal battle, as per usual. What he isn't expecting is to find a Guide deep in Guide Shock. He's especially not expecting the Guide in question to be Steve Rogers, the original. Well. Fury thinks he might be winning something, setting this up, but he's not. He'll find that out, but first he has a Guide to take care of.

Summary
A sentinel could spend most of their early years without a guide. By their mid-thirties if a sentinel had yet to form a bond with a guide their senses would start to lose focus and precision until they became overwhelmed and went insane.
Tony was in his forties and the bond he had was a thin string that could be snapped with just one word, and it was the only reason why Tony wasn’t locked up in an asylum for sentinels.
Even with his bond though, Tony was deteriorating, unable to control his senses and becoming overprotective of his teammates.
If he didn't increase the strength of his current bond or find a new guide who he could bond better with then he would be locked up for life.
Too bad Starks have a history of having trouble bonding, and Tony's already tried every technique to strengthen his bond with his guide.
Oh, and let's not forget his guide was none other than Mr. Perfect himself: Steve Rogers.
So really? Tony was screwed unless those bonding techniques started working, because who the hell else could bond with him and do it better than Mr. Perfect?
