From a love letter In London to a second dance with Charlotte, "Bereft without her" will make your Heybourne daydreams come true. All this with Colbourne's love confession and a Heybourne marriage that will hopefully be worthy of their passionate love.

Summary
A warning now:- this is a bit of a leftfield Sanditon piece of which I have already written 4 chapters of which this is the first one.
I have a bit of a fixation on what society of the regency period would make of the modern day world. This is my attempt to explore that theme, It will have plenty of humour, some romance and hopefully act as a vehicle for the characters for self discovery.
Its a bit Lost in Austen, come His Dark Materials, come Outlander.
It starts off innocuously enough in good old Heyrick shortly after Charlottes marriage to Mr Colbourne, but don't be fooled, as if you haven't already guess its going off the beaten track and will involve time travel and alternative realities. If you are looking for a traditional Heybourne story , possibly best pass it by, or maybe stop after chapter 1, otherwise your going to be really disappointed!

This tale follows series three of Sanditon with Alexander Colbourne as the featured character. It picks up about three months after Alexander Colbourne and Charlotte Heywood are married. Against great odds, they have fulfilled their deepest wishes of marrying, and happily ever after is the expected outcome. However, challenges remain ahead of the couple, originating in Alexander's unhappy past. Charlotte is aware of some of Alexander's story, but there was much that occurred in his life that left him with deep wounds which are not easily left behind. Married life is rarely simple, and a happily ever after cannot be taken for granted.
