Summary
When Lady Montrose arrives in Sanditon resolved to find advantageous matches for her children, she selects Georgiana Lambe for her son, Harry Montrose, and Mr. Colbourne for her daughter, Lady Lydia. When Lady Lydia receives an invitation from Mr. Colbourne to ride at Heyrick Park at her convenience, her mother hatches plans to get them engaged. However she is unaware that many people don’t like the idea of such match. This fix-it fanfiction tells what is happening in the background to thwart Lady Montrose’s schemes.

This fanfiction is presented via several POVs, with a timeline extending over the complete series 3 (episodes 1 to 6). In this first chapter, we have Mrs. Filkins's POV.
