Summary
Let's talk about that attempted murder that Ivanova got away with.
Yes, that one. Back on Io Station.
(Hint: She totally threatens to do the same thing to Harriman Gray in "Eyes" later on. And also orders her subordinates to fire up the station's defense grid and blow Bester's ship out of the sky. And that's just what we know about.)
Edit 6/25/22: This was an early essay discussing the incident in question and fleshing it out with a short fic. I have also written a longer fic from the point of view of the investigating Psi Cop, here.)

Canon says Bester ordered Byron to fire on, and destroy, an unarmed civilian transport.
Canon lied.
What actually happened was different - and more complicated.

The "Exclusionary Rule" and Violence Against Telepaths (Part 1) by pallasite

Summary
The rule excluding scans from evidence in criminal cases appears on its face to be about maintaining "fairness" (and who could be against "fairness?"), but under the surface lurks a darker reality: that this exclusion (perhaps intentionally) shields normals from the legal consequences of assaulting, abusing and murdering telepaths.
This essay explains what the "exclusionary rule" means in law (including the doctrine of the "fruit of the poisonous tree"), using canon cases for illustration. Subsequent essays will provide more canon examples, and will address both the intent of the rule (both in-universe and out of it), as well as its devastating impact on the telepath community for over 150 years.

Summary
At the end of The Psi Corps Trilogy (a 100% series according to JMS), Bester faces a war crimes trial in the Hague and is convicted, after a rushed trial with weak legal representation. This project stands as Bester's defense: legally, socially and historically. By providing readers with the "rest of the story," with a nuanced presentation of facts and events, I demonstrate that canon is misleading, and the truth is not as it seems.
Sometimes, it's the complete opposite of what you've been told.
This essay sums up the project so far.

Canon Reference List of All the Times Normals Kill Telepaths by pallasite

Summary
I've compiled the Big Ass List of Examples of canon abuse of telepaths, by normals, over 150 years. This list only includes what is directly mentioned or shown, and does not include the Telepath War itself.
The same list can be found in my prior post here, where I dissect a JMS Usenet post and respond with a discussion of the canon history and the legal framework by which telepaths are "regulated".
I am presently working on a novella focusing on just the events of 2156 - the year the Centauri arrived and made first contact, and the year the Corps (as such) was formed. This is one of the most eventful six-month periods in canon, but it somehow only gets a few pages and some indirect references later on. You deserve the full book.
