This is a very old story of mine, although recently I did a bit of work on it to fine tune the old tale. It stars Rick Schroeder in his tween persona in the 1980's sitcom Silver Spoons. The story I wrote isn't based on any actual episode - but in my opinion, this should have happened in one of the shows.
Ricky and his dad show their legal assistant a great trick their new pet can perform. A very vorish trick that Ricky very much enjoys performing.

This story is based on the original 1960 movie by William Castle. A much gentler story - but with a phantom lion prowling around in the basement. There was one scene where the boy Buck was face-to-face with the lion... only to be saved by the ghost of the headless lion tamer.
And I thought, what if Buck wasn't saved? And what would it look like, him trapped in an invisible belly?
