What’s the worst thing when a modern person transmigrates into the body of the son of a duke in a fantasy novel?
The lack of a toilet? The discomfort of riding a coach for weeks and getting a sore butt? The difficulty of attaining proper hygiene? No internet? No electricity?
Well, it’s all of the above, actually.
The worst part is, Impulse has to inhabit the body of Marquess Camil of Rhund aka the infamous "scum incarnate"—a minor villain in a webnovel called “Legendary-ish”, who barely survived two chapters after dying of alcohol poisoning. If he wants to enjoy this second chance, he has to protect his rich life and not attract any attention and suspicions from the novel’s protagonist Skye Zimmerman—or “Skizz” according to the fandom.
What was that?
He has to prevent Prince Lucian of Gales’s assassination and the potential destruction of the Gales Kingdom after the Wutor Empire’s declaration of war?
There goes not attracting attention to himself, he supposes.

The moments of silence almost killed Joel.
Did he just ruin their friendship?

So an agreement between the two was set.
Only they knew, they both promised to keep it to the two of them, and nobody else.

Impulse’s eyes landed on one of the Apollo kids working in the infirmary/the Apollo cabin.
He had dark brown hair, light skin scarred in scar, primarily on his strong looking arms, the sleeves of his camp shirt simply having been purposely ripped off.
He came over to help Tango, his dazzling blue eyes caught Impulse’s own brown and the Hephaestus cabin kid’s stomach filled with fluttering butterflies, “I got him from here buddy.” he said to Impulse, helping Tango onto an empty cot and addressing his injured hand.
Impulse was enamored by him instantly.
He nodded, face red and walked out of cabin 7.
He needed to see the teen more.
He was down for him, and down bad.
Or, Impulse develops a crush on a kid from the Apollo cabin (Skizz) and can only seem to get some time with him when he get's hurt, looks like he's in the camp infirmary a lot this summer

The grieving man walks to about the middle of the bridge.
He climbs onto the wall, planting both feet on it, standing he can see the blue water below, a fall that would kill him, he hopes.
Impulse was always scared of heights, always wanting to be the one walking on the street side as the walked side by side.
A smile crosses his lips before being replaced by a sick smile.
He clutches his side, heaving a wet sob.
He feels so lost, Impulse, his best friend, can't be gone.
He is about to lean forward when a voice call out, panicked, and fearful, "Stop, please don't jump."
Skizz turns to look at who yelled and he sees a man about his age running over.
He has brown hair with a bright green streak in his bangs that bounces as he runs from a pickup truck parked on the other end of the bridge.
"Please don't." the man says, "How about you climb down, and we can talk."
