Also im not looking at Max Steel lore too much, i wana make as original story as possible. After Li Jingnian had held Shen Qiuwen in his arms and prayed to the King of Hell to let her spirit pass safely into the afterlife, he carefully placed her down before he pushed himself to his feet and rushed out of the room, making his way towards the courtyard before he suddenly stopped and stared at the massacre in the yard, his eyes wide with horror, before he zeroed in on Lin Xiaoran, who had a trail of blood drying on his chin and a large slash across his chest.
“Lin Xiaoran” he breathed before he ran over to him and quickly knelt beside him, giving his shoulders a shake.
“Lin Xiaoran. Lin Xiaoran!” he exclaimed, but Lin Xiaoran didn’t answer, causing Li Jingnian to shake his head as he shook his shoulders again.
“Lin Xiaoran, wake up! Lin Xiaoran!” he cried. Lin Xiaoran, however, didn’t answer, causing Li Jingnian to let out a sob before he pulled Lin Xiaoran into his arms and gently cupped his face in his hand.
