Summary
There was supposed to be peace after the X event.
Not chaos.After discovering Dream’s secret, Lux forms a cult, recruiting multiverse children who have suffered in their home worlds. Just like her. She leeches off their negativity to unleash a secret revenge upon her father and Ink. Somehow Gradient is wrapped up in Lux’s psychotic thirst for justice.
Meanwhile, PJ escapes the Antivoid and Error’s abuse, only to find himself wrapped around Lux’s finger, exchanging his partnership for Gradient's release.
Cross and Dream search for their lost children, testing their "perfect" relationship as they travel to into the multiverse’s most tortured worlds.
Behind the curtains, there is a much larger force brewing inside a bitter remote world. A force that will reshape the multiverse as all know it and those protecting it. A now heartbroken Dream must finally confront his guilty past to preserve a peaceful future, helping the multiverse’s children step up to an impending doom that makes the X event look insignificant.
