The curse seems to follow her everywhere (work, school, the lair. Hell, even her own bedroom). She just wants a break.
Leo's best friend being followed around by sonatas and rhapsodies is really preventing him from finally telling her how he feels. Okay, maybe he was struggling with that already, but he'd really appreciate it if it didn't start happening when he was finally gaining the courage to. Hopefully, he can use it to his advantage or something...

Link pounded her hammer against hot steel as the heat within the room climbed higher and higher. Muscles rippled every time she lifted it high, and stretched every time she let it fall. Each bang against the metal was a type of catharsis that only forging could bring her, and she was glad that the princess had allowed this of her.
She still watched, from near the doorway, where the heat wasn’t as great, and with an intense curiosity. But the smith paid her no mind, not while she worked, and certainly not while she had to sort through her own thoughts.
It Would have been too choking otherwise.
