Summary
Jason paused at this. Huffed a laugh. “Yeah, okay Timmy. What the hell. Fine. I’ll work with you.” Better to keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Or: Jason agrees to work with Tim to track down the Joker, but he notices the lies — and, well, can he really chalk them all up to paranoia? Meanwhile, Tim uncovers some corruption within Drake Industries.

Summary
There had been much study on the effects of the Lazarus Pits in the centuries they had been used. The fact that they led to diminishing returns and that eventually a body would give out even with frequent use was well known. The fact that exposure could lead to irrationality and extreme rage, particularly in the immediate aftermath was thoroughly documented. That some people had more or less extreme reactions than others surprised no one.
In fact, if you were to ask Ra's Al Ghul if all side effects of the Lazarus Pool were known (you shouldn't), and he were to answer you honestly (he wouldn't), he would say yes.
He was wrong.
The problem was the all the observers and most of the participants, were members of the League of Shadows. There are certain traits to be expected in such individuals. So no one had yet noticed the way the pit heightened paranoia. Because, after all, why wouldn't they be cautious and suspicious?
Or:
Jason Todd, not sure who to trust, trusts no one. It changes things.

Summary
Jason has finally escaped the clutches of the evil Bruce Wayne (who certainly wanted to turn Skunk!Jason into a hat, why else would he have been kidnapped by the billionaire?) Yet he's still ended up tailing Batman and Robin on patrol, if only because he's curious about their tiny stalker with the camera.
One thing leads to another and somehow Jason is left protecting a tiny Racoon kit from their natural shared predator, and deciding being a Hat might be a kinder fate than this.
AKA Baby Skunk Jason protecting Baby Racoon Tim from a Coyote Shifter. Bruce is a helicopter bat-dad.

Summary
Having been essentially kidnapped by The Batman, Skunk Shifter Jason has to not only navigate a giant manor while pretending to be stuck in his small form, he also had to avoid the adult who clearly wants to sell him, the self proclaimed brother who wants endless snuggles and figure out a way past the ridiculous security and escape before he's turned into a hat.
AKA Jason doesn't know how to relax or feel safe, itching with paranoia and trust issues after a few years on Gotham's streets.

Summary
The walk to the throne room is near silent. The bare stone corridors look like the same ones from yesterday, but Jason is disoriented and can’t tell which direction they’re going in, much less if he’s walked them before. It’s another thing adding to the discomfort of being there that he thinks he can’t share with Dick. He knows Dick would tell him he’s unnecessarily concerned, and Dick is very probably right, but Jason’s job in life is to be paranoid on behalf of his masters.
