They hadn’t been quiet, but Spike was very pointedly pretending not to hear; his stare was nearly fierce enough to bore a hole through the book in his hands.
He was going to kill Angel, was going to tear him limb from limb and rip his eyeballs from their sockets and then cut off his head.
He sighed. Maybe he would just stake him. It would certainly be faster, take away more chances for him to fight back. Spike was pretty sure he wanted him dead more than he wanted him hurt.
