As their blades clashed, Stan was scanning the deck, seemingly bored. Then, he appeared to notice someone and flashed a toothy grin.
“Kyle!” He beamed, not even looking in his opponent's direction. “Find anything interesting?”
“Some gold and a couple barrels of whiskey, which I know you would love”, Kyle states dryly, rising from below-deck. A henchman tries to attack him from behind, but Kyle elbows him in the chest, knocking him back as he continues, unfazed. “I honestly don’t know why you were so intent on ransacking this ship.”
“Money and Alcohol?” The dark-haired boy replies, dodging another attack. “Don’t you just know the way to a man’s heart.”
Kyle scrunches his nose. “You’re an idiot, Stan.”
