Jing Yuan does make him feel good. Ren, however, thinks it’s embarrassing to admit it out loud that he does.
“Daddy, you’re just having Mommy all too yourself,” Ren hears Yanqing suddenly say before he can respond and he cranes his head to Yanqing next to Jing Yuan, seeing him pout a little at the man for not giving him a chance one bit. Yanqing looks like he’s sulking because of how unfair Jing Yuan is and indicating that it should be his turn.
“Ah, haha,” Jing Yuan chuckles, “I’m sorry,” he apologizes, “I didn’t realize.”
Ren is positioned in the middle with Yanqing in front of him and Jing Yuan behind him. Yanqing looks happy about it, with a smile crossing his face, as if he’s happy that he can have Ren. It’s kind of precious to look at.

Jing Yuan noticed the way Yingxing would perk up every time Dan Feng was around. It never failed to irritate Jing Yuan or he was just being pathetic and wanting Yingxing to be happy when he’s with him, too. He tried his best not to think about it too much.
Sometimes he would tease Yingxing about liking Dan Feng, whispering to Yingxing those questions of—“Do you like him?”, “Are you that happy to see him?”, “You like him, don’t you?” and he would see the crimson blush on Yingxing’s face and Yingxing would even call him annoying and then tell him to stop.
The answer was obvious, even without Yingxing giving one. Jing Yuan figured he was right. Yingxing did. He wished Yingxing didn’t. Perhaps that’s also why he went to ask such questions, hoping to see that Yingxing didn’t when the truth was, Yingxing really did.

What hurt more, though, was witnessing the two got together.

It kind of tickles but the pleasure of Jing Yuan’s touch outweighs the feeling at the same time then Jing Yuan rests his fingers once he reaches Ren’s abdomen. He locks their gaze, has their forehead touched, and his smile returns.
“Your scars show me you’ve gone through so much, you’ve been so strong, and that’s so beautiful, Ren. You are so beautiful.”
