Summary
Set directly after the events of S2 Ep10, when Robby Keene kicks Miguel Diaz off the third floor and Miguel snaps his back in half.
Miguel Diaz is in a 2 month long coma after suffering the injuries to his spine. He is trapped inside of his head, trying to defeat his enemy in the karate match using Johnny Lawrence's rules; Strike first and show Mercy. But he keeps on losing until John Kreese visits him and gives Miguel a talk about how much he means to Cobra Kai, and how he hopes Miguel will make it through. Miguel defeats his karate enemy using the way of the fist, and wakes up in the arms of his beloved girlfriend, Tory Nichols. Except something inside of him has changed.
He almost died because he showed mercy. So why should anyone deserve mercy under his wrath? Miguel Diaz is no longer the weak little boy who joined karate because he was being bullied; he is the boy who is going to prove the world he's strong. That he will become the most brutal Karate fighter in the sport. That nobody will ever doubt him or his strength. Or that he ever lost to the hands of Robby fucking Keene.
