One can hear the ocean before they see it. Namjoon knows that. The sound of waves crashing on sand; Namjoon knows that most people find the lulling, monotonous melody of the ocean against the shore peaceful and soothing. But what Namjoon doesn’t know is why the sound of ocean meeting earth doesn’t relax him, rather, makes him feel as if he’s drowning miles away from the waves. What Namjoon doesn’t know is why it makes his lungs burn and his head spin and his heart ache.
What Namjoon doesn’t know is what happened before he saw or heard the ocean for the first time he can remember. And what he doesn’t know, does hurt him an awful lot. And he can’t figure out why.

Namjoon's eyes are tired but full of love as he pulls Jimin against his chest, kissing his forehead before nudging his head to rest on his shoulder. The silent sound of Namjoon's soft breathing is soothing as his fingers comb through the other's hair while his hand returns to click the mouse and open different files on his computer.
Soon the melody of Namjoon's new song plays in the background, soothing Jimin's distressed mind in gentle waves. Jimin smiles to himself, snuggling closer to Namjoon and breathing in the scent of his favorite shampoo, in that moment like many other times Jimin realizes that there's no place safer than the arms of your lover.

Nam Joon broke the kiss and my mouth gave out a soft whimper. Hearing my whimper, he took it as a signal to keep going. He pushed me on to the sofa. His hands pressing down on my hands over my head. He made soft kisses from my lips to jawline going towards my ear, sending me shivers throughout my body. He whispered into my ear, "I wanted to tear that skirt off of you since I saw you this morning."
I gulped at his words feeling my body get aroused. "I won't continue unless you want me to," he whispered in between kisses. My heart pounded rapidly. I was high from the kiss of his lips. In between my legs were already getting soaked. I wanted more.
