It really didn't take much longer than the first month for George to understand that he had never loved someone this way, so purely.
Karl's love was just as tender as him, it was good morning and good night kisses, dancing in the kitchen no matter how much George whined that he didn't know how to dance, it's back hugs, handmade gifts, wearing George's clothes because it made him feel safe, it's asking George to paint his nails, never caring if they were a little uneven at the end.
The sound of the sheets moving makes George turn to see a mop of brown hair peeking out of the hotel blanket.
Amsterdam has been more tiring than they expected, so any time they could sleep was well spent, especially by Karl.

Luke jumped up from the couch and we both ran over to the door. As we opened the door in a rush, we saw a tired Karl staring down at his phone.
