Yeosang’s shaking hands hovered helplessly over the mess of shattered glass and sand, his mind blank with panic. It couldn’t be broken, it couldn’t be. This wasn’t meant to happen.
A shadow fell over Yeosang, and his head whipped up to see a familiar figure standing over him.
“Hongjoong-hyung!” he cried with relief, then froze.
No. Not Hongjoong. Not his Hongjoong, anyway.
The man in black tilted his head, looking down at Yeosang, who was still crouched in front of the broken cromer.
“So, it’s you,” he said. “I wondered who was going to end up taking my place.”
