He was an alien seemingly seeking asylum on Earth, playing pretend as humanity’s protector. There had to be an angle, a hidden agenda, even if Batman couldn’t quite see it currently.

What is worse? The Justice League have received word that a contingent of surviving militaristic Kryptonians, led by Zod, is slated to arrive on Earth in over a year's time. Intent on taking over Earth.The only one who could stand in their way? Is Superman. Who Batman believes is not ready, nor does the Earth-raised Kryptonian seem to have any plan, or training.
