Loop always dreams in pink. Pink like her favorite vest and scrunchie that she wears to show that it’s her, Loop, and not one of her sisters. Pink like the colors that paint the Hasetsu sky at dawn and dusk, a picture so pretty it has Loop itching to create one of her own. Pink like the roses her mama always loves to get from her papa, the two of them smiling and blushing like a shojo manga.
Pink like the dress Lutz is wearing.

You only drop your hand once he’s fully out of your sight. You can’t bring yourself to look at the drawing, still on the ground, facing you mockingly. You’re not stupid. Every time you look down, you can see your hands, black as the night sky. You can see the stars glowing on your arms. You can feel the way your head flares up as you talk. You can feel the Universe-forsaken star thudding against your chest with every breath you take. But you had wished, pathetically, desperately, that maybe Siffrin would see something of himself in you. That he would, somehow, see past the stupid construct the Universe made for you, when it decided you lost the privilege to be him.
You can’t believe, after everything, you still have hope for yourself.

Refused to use their name unless the situation called for it. A name that once belonged to you, stripped and torn away by the Universe’s teeth, and handed to someone else, still bloody from its maw. You called him stardust, but maybe it was a name that described you better. You were what was left behind; everything else moved forward without you. The script was stolen from your hands and shoved into your understudy’s chest while you were cast from the stage.
And you welcomed the fall from the stage! You felt relief in the descent before the crack of your spine on the ground. Before the metaphorical shoe dropped. Before you bled out before the audience, while they cheered and threw flowers at the surviving cast.
AKA, Loop travels with the rest of the team, and learns how to live again.
