Summary
New York City was everything Erica Sinclair could have asked for. She had good friends and a cozy apartment with her brother. She loved school and the thrill of being away from Hawkins. But something was missing, a piece of her that she tried to ignore.
Then she saw him again, pouring his heart out on stage for thousands.
Eddie’s life is the stuff of his wildest dreams. His band is at the top of the charts, he’s got more money than he’s ever had in his life, and he gets to do what he loves for a living. So he ignores the dull ache of loneliness in the pit of his chest and keeps pushing, touring the world and playing for millions of fans.
Until one night, he finds her in the crowd, like something out of a fantasy.
When Eddie finds out that the gorgeous girl in the crowd is none other than Lucas Sinclair’s little sister all grown up, he pushes his attraction deep down and tries to keep things cordial. But Erica doesn’t want cordial; she wants heat and him and it gets harder and harder to not give in. Because if anyone finds out what goes on behind closed doors, everything the two of them have built up for themselves may very well implode.
