Uchiha Madara was a man that dreamt in waking, and lived in dreams. The past, the present, the future — he would have everything.
Pressing into the divot between Tobirama's hip and groin, knee digging into a drumming heartbeat rumbling beneath fragile ribs, Madara stared into Blessed red eyes glazed but focused only on him. He relished in every gifted curse upon his self, and did not love even as the melody of Amaterasu's love sang, sang, sang.
Madara surged forward, captured Tobirama's moans before it could be given voice with which to consume him. Stole the air from those lungs, scorching through with the greedy heat of a wildfire. Licked after beading sweat, roughly pulling at white hair to expose Tobirama's temple and the drops fleeing to soak his hairline.
Tobirama gasped — that, too, he captured.
This was not love; this was greed.

“Humans like to think we’re above animals, but we’re not,” Tobirama quietly murmured.
Madara stared at Tobirama, utterly enraptured by the way the dim light of the room threw the man’s pale features into dramatic relief, making him look like he belonged in an old noir film. There was a weight to the air around them that was only heightened by Madara’s circling dark thoughts, and he felt the alcohol in his veins thrum warm and heady, leaving him pleasantly numb.
“How so?” Madara found himself asking.
Tobirama’s blood red eyes pinned him in place, knowing but not at all judgemental.
“We think that because we can walk, talk and argue philosophical matters that we are somehow more evolved. The truth is we’re all animals beneath the pretty layers we wrap around ourselves. We all possess the same capacity for cruelty and viciousness as our ancestors. At our core we’re ruled by our animal instincts.”

Finding a partner, and learning to slot two lives together is always hard. It's particularly hard for Madara whose line of work as a homicide detective only ever complicates things. However, that might just be about to change if Shisui has his way.

Tobirama Senju’s face twisted with repulsion when he recognized who he had run into. “Ah,” he said in a voice that sounded like as if he had stepped into something particularly gross. “Madara.”
Madara felt his anger grow at this disrespectful tone.
