Ruby knows her regulars.
Henry and Evie Mills always sit in the same booth, third from the door. Evie gets two pancakes and a cup of fruit. Henry gets a plate of waffles and bacon. Harry Jones takes his coffee with three creams and sugars while Killian takes it black. Marla Nephus stops by after school for a soda or two while she does homework. Ben French likes to come in and say hi or to pick up lunch for his parents on weekends. He always tips well and asks after her and Granny.
These are facts of life in Storybrooke. The sun rises, Killian and Harry Jones always bring in the best catches, Mayor Regina Mills has always had two children, and Ruby knows her favorite customers orders by heart.
But what if these facts were wrong?
In Auradon, chaos reigns. Hades has broken the barrier, enraged by his missing children. Adam and Belle must return to the thrones to guide the country. How can the royals battle their villains once more as well as find their missing children?
The children themselves are content with their lives, unknowing of the falsehood they have been thrust into as magic begins to bubble beneath their skin.

Casting such a massive spell and pushing his limits far beyond their breaking point causes him to corrupt his own Soul Jam, falling to his own power in a much different way as he gradually transforms into something more as he desperately tries to convince the Beast Cookies that it gets better. At the point of oblivion—much to the dismay of the all-seeing Witches—he realizes that he can create his own way to fix what was broken for good.

The Triwizard Tournament is over.
Draco Malfoy, in a fit of vengeful grief, attempts sketchy blood magic against Harry Potter whilst drunk.
When he wakes up he finds, to his dismay, that it seems to have worked.
~.~This story is shaping up to be very long and plotty. Basically, the wizarding world has problems that can't be solved just by killing Voldemort, though dealing with Voldemort is an obvious starting point. Draco is positioned, more or less by accident, at the nexus of multiple factions; will he be able to take advantage of this, and to whose advantage?
We will take a while to get to the romance, but it will happen (and it will happen twice; Draco is not mono-amorous). The ratio of upsetting events to more pleasant material is similar to that of canon with the addition, eventually, of sexual elements. The plot will pass through some very dark places, but not altogether without a light.
