While the Hazbin Hotel’s residents try to figure out the angels’ next steps, Alastor faces a wholly new threat. Well, the demon and his strange glasses aren’t really a threat, if one is being realistic. Even if the wound Adam gave him is still not healing properly. Even if he had to strategically abandon yet another fight in the span of two weeks. And never would he ever think of throwing his lot in with Vox of all demons to get rid of the newcomer. That would just be ridiculous.

Summary
Vox is a successful business man who has it all. Fame, fortune, his own tech company, a fancy house - fancy car, and a gorgeous husband. A life anyone could only hope to dream of.
Unfortunately, things aren't always as good as they seem, and just because you're successful in life, doesn't mean you're happy.
Vox's marriage has been failing for several years, and now he's turned to cheating. Dating a man named Valentino who only wants him for his money- and there's a slight chance he may also be running an underground drug ring. But we all know the saying 'love is blind' and more importantly 'ignorance is bliss'.
Surely nothing could go wrong here, assuming Vox can keep his affair a secret.

Summary
Vox has been in hell for about two months, but he has great ambitions. He knows his worth, he works 3 jobs, and he'll do anything to get to the top. That's until he meets Alastor.
Basically, in this fic, I'm going to imagine the backstory of Vox and Alastor, from Vox's perspective. I used Papermint as the name for "Vox's assistant" as I felt like that's become his fanon name now.

Secrecy is guaranteed, so what's the problem? A strict no-sexual-contact clause, because Vox isn't into men. He's really not.

“Do I need an occasion to spoil my little honey? Come on, open one!”
Alastor eagerly opened the first box, and pulled out a garter belt. “What’s this?”
“Beautiful clothes for my beautiful wife.” Vox sat down as Alastor continued to open boxes. For each present, the deer looked more and more thoughtful.
“It’s all ... underwear?”
“Yeees.” Vox grinned. “I just couldn’t choose, I know you’ll look good in all of them. I was thinking we could have a private little fashion-show, here in the living room. Just the two of us.”

“What’s a demon like you doing in an alley like this?”
Vox was across the length of the alley in a flash, his atoms scrambling themselves in his haste to get away. He rematieralised from his electric form to flatten his back against the grimy wall, claws digging into divots between brickwork. His eyes blew wide, the light of his screen casting a dim glow along the length of the alley as he swung his head back and forth, looking for the source of that—that voice.
A voice like a door inching open on a stray wind. A voice like a branch brushing against a tombstone. A voice like a floorboard creaking in the dead of night.
But no one was there.

A re-imagining of Vox and Alastor's first meeting in Hell that asks the question, 'what would their relationship look like if it was one-sided on Alastor's half?' The answer: not good for Vox.

Vox barely listened as Carmine talked; he was looking at Alastor. He wasn’t alone in that; half the Overlords around the table were focusing on Carmine and the other half were staring at the deer. They were all thinking about it, Vox knew:
The Radio Demon is sleeping with the Devil.
The news had been everywhere the last two weeks. Every TV-channel, news-site, even the out-of-date newspapers had covered the story. It was discussed on every platform in Hell. Alastor himself was seemingly completely engrossed in Carmine’s presentation. In fact, he was way more interested than Vox had seen him be at a meeting before; the Radio Demon asked questions, came with suggestions, and was acting like there was nothing he wanted more than to listen to her. But he had to notice. Had to feel the stares, the questions hanging in the air.

Summary
There was no arguing the fact that a lot of people treated an orgasm as something that relaxed them. Something that could throw off the tension of the day as the world went briefly white – and the only thing that seemed important was the sound of your own blood thumping in your veins, your breath hissing in your ears.
Vox certainly appreciated them for that reason – among others.
Alastor also liked them for that reason, though he was the only freak Vox had ever met that seemed to get more satisfaction out of watching somebody else come than actually doing it himself.

While Al might have been an entertainer; was a performer through and through; might have loved being in the spotlight more than anyone else Vox knew—that certainly didn't equate to being an exhibitionist. Though publicly she made no secret of the fact that she considered Vox hers—reveled in it, seemingly, with sharp eyed glares and possessive hands around her waist or shoulders, it never went further than that.
So it still felt somewhat surreal to Vox that behind closed doors Al was so in to this, even if it was only for an audience of one.

Vox makes a deal with a strange new entity to take over hell, what he doesn’t know is that the entity plans to take him over first. Velvette and Valentino can’t get through to him and when Alastor tries to stop him, he finds himself stuck in Vox’s head, trapped with a Vox who is more than happy to stay in a fantasy world. A fantasy world that’s feeling a bit too… domestic for Alastor’s tastes.
While the Vees and Charlie & friends try to stop the unknown entity from the outside, Alastor does his best to free Vox’s mind from the inside. And maybe learns a bit more about Vox than he’d care to know.
