Summary
When Shadow lifted his foot to get closer still, his mirror image moved in a blur of black and gold. It was then that Shadow noticed one other slight difference between them – he was a fraction of a second slower.
However, in Shadow’s complete and utter shock, even though the duplicate was two and a half damn nanoseconds slower than he was, Shadow couldn’t have stopped or even predicted what came next.

Upon finding an identical stranger, Shadow goes on to seek the memories he's lost and uncovers far more than he, or any of his friends, could be prepared for.
