Summary
John ends up telepathically bonded to an Ancient City. And his team. And his boss. And his girlfriend. He swears his life was normal before all this.
As John started his pre-flight check, Jack leaned over and asked, “Do I want to know?”
John rolled his eyes, “Knives, sir.”
“Knives?” Jack looked back at EJ, then leaned over a bit further to look at Ronon, both of them grinning as he surveyed them.
“Where are they putting them all?” Jack wondered.
“I really don’t know, sir,” John said seriously, “I’m kind of afraid to ask.”
“General O’Neill, Special Agent Baran, AR-1,” Woolsey’s voice came over the radio, “Send someone to update me with your progress in six hours.”
“Six hours, got it,” John responded easily as he powered up the jumper.
'Bring back drones, Imperator. My current stock is woefully inadequate.'
'I'll do my best,' John agreed with a grin.
'We’ll be back soon, Atlantis,' EJ assured her, 'Play nice with the others while we’re gone.'
'I always ‘play nice’,' came the haughty reply, 'I believe I will spend some time with my Historicus. He seems to be the most appreciative of our bond.'
The Caretakers laughed as the jumper went through the gate.Series

Summary
When a traitor threatens the SGC and Atlantis, John goes back to Earth to protect his family.
“You keep saying 'they',” Cameron commented, “I thought it was just the one CIA guy.”
“It is unlikely one man could coordinate an attack such as this,” Teal'c spoke evenly.
“Four people minimum,” EJ considered, “CIA, IOA, two go-betweens. And that's just for planning. That doesn't include whoever they contracted for the hits and whatever goons they've hired for protection. Someone in the IOA had to have leaked the intel, because the CIA doesn't normally have access to information like that otherwise.”
“What do we do now?” Landry prompted.
EJ took a deep, bracing breath, “The easiest way to get what we want is to give them what they want.”
“No,” John said flatly.
“I have a plan,” EJ turned to him.
“I’m sure you do,” John's hazel-green eyes sharpened as he met her violet gaze, “I’m also pretty sure that it’s a terrible plan.”
“You haven’t even heard it yet,” EJ protested, raising her voice slightly, “Can you at least pretend to listen before you assume it’s a terrible plan?”
“Nope,” John replied swiftly.
The argument deteriorated from there.Series
