Summary
A rewrite of Turnabout Goodbyes with a not-so happy ending.
Edgeworth is ashamed of what he did, afraid of everyone judging or trying to hurt him. Von Karma's influence is more and more prevalent, until his guilt finally brings him to confessing.
Phoenix, on the other hand, is determined to win. If not for Edgeworth, but for himself.
This fic is full of Edgeworth angst and dissociation, Phoenix feeling rushed and scared, and Maya and Gumshoe being insanely conflicted in everything.
