Pebble let out a high-pitched bark. A towering, shadowy figure turned around from the top of the stairs, a broken VHS at its feet. A projection of the night sky could be seen behind it, splattered with fresh ichor.
Boxten’s eyes met its dilated, bloodshot ones. His heart skipped a beat.
There was no denying it.
This was Dandy.
