Summary
Two young crechemates run through the halls of the Jedi temple laughing as they escape from their creche masters; the duo were inseparable, two bright, blazing presences in the Force.
The older one, a newly selected padawan named Phillip, was a kind boy, always helping the younger, a boy nicknamed Soap for how organized he was. With his lightsaber form and his Force techniques.
But the war against the Sith empire looms ever closer, and a call to arms would tear the two away from each other. One of them would continue to grow in the temple, waiting cycle after cycle for the other to return.
But months later, John learns some news that almost breaks him. Phillip was dead. At least. That is what he believed until he was sent on a mission to Korriban where he encountered a mysterious Sith Lord.

Following Vladimir Makarov's escape from the Zordaya Prison Complex, CIA agent Kate Laswell and Colonel Yuri Volkov of the Russian Armed Forces take matters into their own hands after learning of potential world-ending nuclear warheads stashed at a military base off the Kastovian Sea. After the mission goes south, Yuri is forced to face the consequences of his past and the face of the man he once called a friend.
[This follows the canon story of MW3 of the reboot trilogy, though I decided to add some fan-favorite (my favorite) minor characters like MW2's Shadow Company trio of Dipaolo, Erikson, and Vance—as well as the OG trilogy's Sergeant Kamarov because they simply don't get enough love.]

You step out of the car, the late afternoon breeze tugging at your sleeves as you trudge behind her up the driveway. The man waiting on the porch is older, with a weathered face framed by a beard. He’s dressed simply in a flannel shirt and jeans, his posture relaxed but alert, like he’s sizing you up.
“Mr. Price,” Ms. Harris says warmly, gesturing toward you. “This is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is Mr. Price. He’ll be your foster parent from now on.”
Your stomach tightens at the word “parent,” but you keep your expression neutral, your eyes darting to meet his briefly before focusing on your worn-out sneakers.
Price crouches slightly, offering a hand. “Just John will do,” he says, his voice steady and calm. “Pleasure to meet you.”
You glance at his hand but don’t take it. “Hi,” you mumble. It’s barely audible, and you know you’re being rude, but you don’t care. -

Fifteen-year-old Arias is very determinately not ended. The people around her seem to be frozen in time though. It seems to her that the entire world might be.
At least, until *they* show up. Four men claiming to have been SAS, not that she knows what the acronym stands for. Should she trust them? Should she trust herself in this situation? She’s still just a kid, trying to find out who she is, and now it feels as though the world is collapsing beneath her feet.
