This is the motto of the LengshanRu clan, which has been living in seclusion from the cultivator world for more than a century. "Indeed. I will put my...sensibilities aside. I will find the right cultivator for this task. Do not ask Nie-gongzi."

Wei Wuxian discovers an...unorthodox ritual to try and restore his golden core. He decides he would like to do it blindfolded, to remain ignorant to the identity of whichever cultivator steps forward to help him. Lan Wangji promises to look high and low for someone suitable.

i'd really like to see a story set during or right after the sunshot campaign where lwj gets seriously injured somehow and yllz!wwx saves him (and he punishes whoever hurt lwj with his demonic cultivation). the tension and worry from seeing lwj hurt culminates in them fucking and it's super fraught and intense bc of all the things that were going on with wangxian during this time period.
