The worst part of it all is that Scott craves Mike’s touch. He’ll let Mike lead him on, let him smile his pretty smile, touch his cheek, his chest, lead him somewhere, press him against the wall and kiss him..

Summary
As humans beings, we never truly understand and grasp what life is in different time periods. Even through books or television, we can never get the full experience we all yearn for. This is what sets me apart from you and Alaska: she can fly through time with only a thought and a sharp concentration. Some claim Alaska isn't human due to her supernatural powers in such a bland world. The fact that she can travel to whatever time frame she wants would finally catch up with her, and who will be there to assist her? Carson is the epitome of an average person, with a lovely family, a decent career, and a near-perfect life in general. Before he reached Alaska, that is. Her presence and abilities had an effect on his life, and perhaps on hers as well.
