TagsSummaryWhen Chase learns of a sequel to 'The Princess and the Cat' (aka: 'that cat book where Buddy went meow'), he's not really interested. Until he learns that Mewcifer is once again the book's Villainess. Feeling guilty about laughing at Buddy going overboard in the original book, Chase decides the sequel would be a good way to apologise. Chase and Buddy just need to reprise their story character roles as the cats Toffee and Mewcifer and get along for a few days in order for Mewcifer to earn her very own Happy Ever After. Easy! Except… Buddy hasn't gone into the story with his usual full knowledge about the events in it. Instead, he's having to rely on Chase's guidance through the plot. There's one little detail Chase is reluctant to tell him, though. Deacon's copy of the book isn't the normal version for children. It's still a book about two enemy cats who learn to play nicely together, though. It couldn't possibly be too much for a Heroine and a Villainess to handle without any consequences like 'awkward conversations' or, worse, 'feelings'. Right?
