I got a buddy, he says they’re to die for. And while you’re at it, add a couple pumps of caramel syrup. How many do you think is good? Five? Yeah, do five. And a few pumps of that cinnamon syrup, too.”
Neil’s generally pretty good at not reacting to what customers order, but he must’ve let something slip through, because the guy raises his hands defensively and quickly adds:
“Hey, cut me some slack, man. I’m trying to quit amphetamines.”

First they were circling each other like dogs, and now they’re shacking up in secret, getting up to all kinds of things behind closed doors.
