Crazed. Lou Ellen thinks his eyes look crazed. The sparkle in question may simply be the reflection of the tip of the dagger that has appeared in his non-sword hand, which appears to be made of sharpened human bone. Lou Ellen wonders, morbidly, what bone it is for about point three seconds before Will sways — genuinely sways! — and says, “And the way he handles that femur! Oh!”
“Dude,” she says, aghast. “Will, man, get ahold of yourself.”
There’s a thunk as her best friend throws himself dramatically upon the ground. His wrist is poised delicately on his forehead, face twisted pitifully. She rolls her eyes hard enough that she actually goes blind for a brief second and falls off the bench in panic. Will seems pleased that she’s joined him on the floor.
“I can’t. He’s too beautiful.”
Lou Ellen cranes up her neck.
“A nine year old just looked at him and cried.”
His sigh is more wistful than dreamy, this time. “He’s gonna be a great dad someday.”

Could it be that he was merely making himself believe this? He just wanted to be there for Will! And for that... He had to be strong, right? He thought he was okay, but is he really?
WILL still get nightmares ever since Tartarus, and can you blame him? He tried so hard to overcome his past struggles, but as Tartarus continues to torment him, said struggles began resurfacing, and it made him sick to be regressing. When can he truly start moving on? When can he start growing? What did he have to do to be as strong as Nico?! What did he have to do to grow away from his struggles for the second time? To turn this regression into progression? To overcome this helplessness that he always hated?

Akutagawa has finally grown accustomed to his life in Japan. After Zeus banishes him to Yokohama, there isn't much he can do except go along with the usual mafia business after all. He really wasn't expecting a lightning bolt (and maybe a message from the infamous gods themselves) from his camp days to unwillingly shake up his life yet again. One final chance to return back to his dear Camp Half Blood and the people he holds close. One big secret that most don't know. And one major quest that Nico- Akutagawa, REALLY cannot screw up.

What happens when an extremely dysfunctional group of heroes which include but is not limited to a God, a robot, a mutated teenager, a super-assassin, and a rich man on their way to dinner meets a better-but-still-slightly-dysfunctional group of kids?? teens?? running around with swords and way too much confidence?
After everything the crew has been through, crashing an Avengers work dinner might have been the strangest experience so far. Hard to say when two of them have literally died and come back though.
