That was likely the worst part of attacks like these. They’d heard horror stories of omnics with nowhere to go flooding mechanic shops, begging for help the owners couldn’t provide. There were already plenty of omnics counting on them to keep them safe there from rioting humans and Null Sector troops alike. They could take a few more in, but…there had already been plenty of close calls with racist humans threatening to torch their store for serving them, even without the invasion. Easily ten separate instances of threats on their livelihood and the lives of their clients in the past year alone.

Summary
Overwatch is gone. Fallen and the members scattered across the world. You used to be a somebody. A medic who ran into things knowing people needed you and patching up the heroes going into battle. That was the past though, but the recall from Winston has made it's way to you asking everyone - even the medics - to come back. You left that life behind though and being in the desert has let you enjoy privacy and keep to yourself. That is untill you find a certain cowboy bleeding out into the night and the threat of Talon looming over doing whatever they can to stop Overwatch from coming back.

“Like waking up from a dream?” His companion supplied. “A dream that was your entire life, before that moment?” Siebren looked up at them from his once-more hunched position, letting out a relieved, broken gasp at the sudden rush of being understood.~~~
Siebren decides to seek out the strange omnic he ran into during the fight, seeking answers on the odd feeling their music gave him. Unfortunately, he forgot about the other two Junkers the reader runs with. He decides to stick around out of curiosity, uncomfortable and antsy, but finds the Junker trio operate... Differently than he'd expected.

Fic focusing on Venture while they unravel the lore and secrets of the Overwatch universe. As they find out the Wayfinders have far more to do with this than they thought. They'll have to trust unlikely sources, and new faces. A fateful encounter leads to a soft romance that burns slowly into passion. Venture/Illari. But other relationships will be talked about. Some smut ONLY when its delicious. Queer rep and queer relationships! A few straights too....perhaps.
Illari has been aged up to make the ages more appropriate. She is 21 here instead of her 18 year old overwatch info. As this takes place a few years after her disaster and I would assume the information posted by blizzard is showing her age at the time she enters the timeline. (We all know they are awful with ages, so I took creative liberties.)

Commander Morrison informed me it was an easy mission. He also promised they wouldn't have to activate my protocol for the mission due to the danger it would put the team and the citizens.
But the sound of the Null Sector ship arriving to the village and the sudden feeling of electricity numbing my whole system while it activated my protocol told me otherwise, feeling how I wasn't controlling my body anymore while the new task given to me had taken action.
Ignoring all other commands until the annihilation of all Nullltroopers.

Summary
Claiming to admit to their wrongdoings, Talon apologizes for their actions and attempts to make amends with Overwatch by hosting a formal function. While many are pleased with Talon's shift in attitude, Hana Song remains doubtful. She reasons with many, trying to remind them of the terrorist group’s original motives, though everybody remains oblivious to their facade.
Hana Song’s elegance catches Ramattra’s interest. Eventually, the war-leading omnic and the bunny of Overwatch share a simple, enjoyable dance together just before catastrophe hits.

“So the new coordinates were applied.”
“Yes! And that’s what caused the ‘crash’ for the test. We hadn’t adjusted power for this new location and so the system tried to compensate. Like when a phone goes into low battery mode and prevents the use of some applications. The portal ‘closed’ but the system was still running.... And then Neon’s radiance overcharged it by accident.”
“The portal connected to the new coordinates and she was pulled through successfully.”
“Correct! She’s on the other side.”

You worked as a mechanic, day and night helping damage weapons or wounded omnics, you were never tasked to do anything different, just the bare minimum it seemed, nothing too technical, you assumed it was because they would prefer humans not getting involved in the more hush hush side of things.That was until someone took notice that of you, it started off small, you were tasked to work on bigger projects such as; working alongside other omnics to build weapons, something that needed close attention from higher ups.
Then one day you were wrapping up your work until suddenly someone stumbled into your workplace.Seems someone needs your help, and neither of you think this can wait for another time.

Summary
A battle rages in Busan- Null Sector is at their door, and the MEKA squad is ready to bring them down. In a final push to win the fight, D.Va detonates her mech, bringing down the omnic army's leader.

She sat and waited for him to elaborate. Her breath came out in short, desperate gasps. Her breath that she didn’t need to take.
Ramattra could sit and examine her for hours, how uncannily humanlike she was to him. But it wasn’t like the idea of an Empathix omnic was unknown to him. As he mentioned, he had heard a thing or two about them before. Sad, desperate things, but he had heard things.
