Summary
Shanks and Buga were the cabin kids of the Roger Pirates.
After Captain Roger's execution and the crew's disbandment, Shanks set sail to chase his dreams. But what about Buga? She didn’t feel like setting sail yet. She had already found her true freedom nearly ten years ago. Now, she occupied her time with various jobs to distract herself from searching for meaning and purpose in her life.
While working at a flower shop in Loguetown, she met Garp, the Marine Hero and Captain Roger's rival. When she realized that the bouquet he requested was meant for Portgas D. Rouge, Buga made an important decision for the first time in a long while.
As she held baby Ace in her arms, she suddenly felt her life regain meaning.
Garp began to regard her as his daughter. Slowly but steadily, her family grew. Then, as a mysterious past, bloodline, and heritage resurfaced, demanding her to be a saviour of the world, Buga realized that she didn’t need to save the world—she needed her family.

Summary
Little Buggy just wanted to sulk in peace—like always. But fate had other plans when a strange, impossibly strong boy barreled into his life. The kid took one look at Buggy's blue hair and red nose and lit up like the sun. "You look like my dad!"
Before Buggy could protest, he was being dragged across town to meet this mysterious father figure – who turned out to be an older, cooler version of himself from another world. This Big Buggy was everything he'd secretly dreamed of being—confident and powerful.
Big Buggy understood his fears, his loneliness, even the way he'd learned to make himself small among the Roger Pirates. And when Big Buggy pulled him into a hug—the first real one he could remember—something inside him cracked open.
Now Buggy faces an impossible choice. The rowdy pirate crew he's always tried to belong to, or this secret family that already accepts him exactly as he is. Luckily, Big Buggy has a solution—why not both?
