They had done it. The Next Step had defended their Regionals title.
But, this just meant Nationals were more important than ever. And with the new Studio-Heads deciding to do The Challenge, things were going to be shaken up in the studio. Not to mention not everyone is even thinking of auditioning, or how they aren't certain if Ross Street is entirely behind them.

Realistically, he knew that the possibility that something more than friendship was going on between them was quite low. By the sounds of things, Daisy was still trying to trust Heath, and Heath was trying his hardest to show Daisy he'd never betray the team again.
But there was that one moment. The time he'd run into the studio and found them stood opposite each other, cheeks both slightly rosy, smiling slightly. The tension in the room was a feeling he was used to, given how many times different people had caught he and Lily kissing, but this time, he was the person walking in.

They weren't always joined at the hip, of course, and they allowed each other space, but the chemistry was always there, and it was always undeniable. The fact that Daisy could feel her cheeks heating up at just the thought of him was testament to just how happy she felt with that boy. They'd been enemies, at first. Then duet partners, and then friends. When she'd left the studio, she had ghosted him, but it was more out of fear than anything else. Fear that he now thought he was too good for her. Fear that he had moved on.
