Many, many things happened on purpose. Like once, you're married, and you have a child, then, that child grows on to be a beautiful, smart little girl that's taken away from you because of some serious incident. "It doesn't just change you, It changes how people also look at you." For instance, the wife became broken. The husband became different.
Phil was there, comforting, helping her cope with it. They rarely talk with each other, but that was when, Melinda had filed a divorce against Phil. He was devastated, his world was already crumbling when he's heard the news about their daughter, and now, Melinda wants to make things more difficult between them.
Now, they have been given a chance to fix everything. All the wrongdoings that they had done, a chance have been given to fix it. Their grief, sadness, vengeance have been replaced. Love, fullness and comfort has replaced it. All they had to do was believe. Believe that what happened stayed in the past but will always be a part of them, a part to carry. A part to carry together.
It's been a long, long time.
