Being stuck in a state between life and death for an eternity never being allowed to rest. Exhaustion takes over as she grows broken and tired.
In the distant future, Erebus gets past the seal with nobody able to stop him, which compels a man who hadn't interacted directly with people in a very long time. He makes a deal that she can't ignore. The game he had been playing wasn't going to end like this if he could help it."Ren...!" Kotone chokes out, only remembering the boys name.

Summary
Arisato Minato and Minako, while they survived the accident that claimed their parent's lives, could hardly be said to have lived through it. Broken by what they experienced and witnessed, the twins would find no solace; decried as cursed children, whose mere presence would bring death with them, they were passed from one distant relative to another, never kept around for long. With time, the two would come to embrace near total apathy, Minato openly and Minako hiding behind false enthusiasm and a fake smile, with only their bond with each other to call them back.
Now, a decade after the horrible event, the two receive an offer for scholarships to study at Gekkoukan High School. Uncaringly, the two accept what they assume to be another in a long line of disappointments. However, what they will receive, and give to others, is the healing of hearts, and an adventure to rival the myths of antiquity.

Now, after being assaulted by a bald man on the streets the one time she snuck out in her only feminine clothes, she was ever so graciously allowed to move to Shibuya by herself to avoid the bad memories.
Yumashev "Yura" Yuriy wasn't ever well liked, not by a long shot, and getting arrested on an assault charge certainly didn’t help. After his time in juvenile detention, he got shipped off to Yongen-Jaya to carry out his parole.
Both are now attending Shujin Academy as normal students, right? Perfectly normal.
