Set shortly after the engagment party in Chain Of Gold. Alastair is avoiding Thomas but finds himself unable to stop thinking about him and is deeply hurt with how the night turned out. But what happens once Alastair is waiting for Cordelia, and Thomas shows up, hurt.
“What I mean is...” He took a deep breath “I wanted to see you again and.. and explain everything, but mostly apologize for.. for everything” He felt as if someone had sucked all the air of the room.
“Then explain” said Thomas, “I want to know what made you behave the way you did, say the things you said but more important..” Thomas paused for a second then, calmly, he said “I want to know you, the real you.” He looked at Alastair with pleading eyes. “Please.” He added. -
