A half-hysterical laugh rips from Wylan‘s throat, even as it occurs to him that his situation isn‘t even remotely funny. He can feel eyes on him from the people passing by, but the only person who should be looking at him still has not turned around.
„Jes…“, he manages to wheeze out, and the pain in his stomach sears and very nearly makes him topple over right there and then. Finally, Jesper halts and turns around to look at him with a brilliant smile on his face. Wylan adores that smile, the unguarded joy on his boyfriend‘s face.
