Ilsa shakes her head at him, but Ethan knows what she looks like when she’s trying not to smile. “Well, as long as you won’t be joining me anytime soon.”
Ethan waits while Benji is in surgery. Luckily, he doesn't have to wait alone.

After defeating the entity, Ethan returns to his mother's farm. Brandt follows him there, to ask him to stop putting others' lives above his own. If his convincement strategies are unorthodox, his results are still nothing less than perfect.
